Welcome Home

When MSgt Christopher Reynolds and wife Anita Reynolds planned his return home from a 4-month deployment to the Middle East, they hoped to surprise daughter Kylie. With help from the board, the cheer staff, and Kylie’s 10/12U cheer teammates, Smithfield Packers Youth Sports Cheer Commissioner Teyaka Ranson-Booker was able to execute MSgt Reynolds’s entrance. Immediately after the cheer team’s halftime performance, he was escorted onto the field from the end zone by Smithfield’s 12U football team, catching Kylie unaware.

SPYS celebrates April as the Month of the Military Child and is happy to welcome MSgt Reynolds back to the community.
