2024 AAU Junior Olympics

Members of the Smithfield Packers Youth Sports Track team attended the 2024 AAU Junior Olympic Games in Greensboro, NC this past weekend.

In girls events, Amirah Harris placed #28/69 in shot put (6 LBs, 10 years old) while Yemi Oniyide placed #41 in the 100 meter dash (9 years old) preliminaries.

In boys events, Kaden Bright placed #34/67 in shot put (6 LBs, 12 years old), Kymari Jenkins placed #31 in the 80 meter hurdles (11 years old) preliminaries, Olumide Oniyide placed #31/74 in the long jump (10 years old) and #44 in the 100 meter dash (10 years old) preliminaries, Caiden Stallworth placed #56/58 in the shot put (6LBs, 10 years old), and the team of Caiden Stallworth, Domonique Key, Kaysen Pretlow, and Olumide Oniyide placed #44 in the 4x100 meter relay (10 years old) preliminaries.
