Spring 2025 Softball

Little League Softball is for players who are league age 7-16. A player's league age is determined by their age on December 31, 2024.

Minors - players league age 7-11 (and some 12 year olds with a waiver). Players who are league age 7 may try out if they have completed at least 1 year in the Farm division. League age 7 year olds who meet the requirements will be placed on a minors team if they are drafted by a team manager. If they are not drafted, they will be placed on a Farm Baseball team.

Majors - players league age 10-12. All league age 12 year olds must be drafted to Majors or Juniors unless a waiver to Minors is requested and approved. All other age appropriate players are placed on a Majors team if they are drafted by a Majors team manager.

Juniors - players league age 12-14. 12 year olds must be evaluated. If their skill level is determined to be appropriate for the Juniors Division, they will be placed on Juniors team.

Seniors - players league age 15-16.

Spring 2025 Baseball

Little League Baseball is for players who are league age 4-16. A player's league age is determined by the age they will be on August 31, 2025.

Tee Ball - players league age 4-6.

Farm (Coach Pitch) - players league age 5-8. Players who are league age 5-6 must have completed 1 year of Tee Ball before advancing to the coach pitch division.

Minors - players league age 8-11 (and some 12 year olds with a waiver). Players who are league age 8 may try out if they have completed at least 1 year in the Farm division. Spring 2025 Challenger Baseball (Special Needs Players)

The Challenger Baseball Program allows players with intellectual and/or physical disabilities to enjoy the full benefits of Little League participation in an athletic environment structured to their abilities. It can be described as “adaptive baseball” for participants with special needs. The Challenger Baseball Program gives everyone the opportunity to participate in baseball, regardless of ability or limitations.

Any participant who will attain the age of 4 before September 1, 2025 and who will not attain the age of 19 before September 1, 2025 is eligible to participate. Players between the ages of 19-22 may play as long as they are enrolled in a school program.

There currently is no fee required to register for the Challenger Baseball Program, however a donation of $25 per player is suggested. We rely heavily on our sponsors to cover player and equipment costs. Sponsorships are happily accepted.

Since Shasta Dam is the only league in our area that offers a Challenger Baseball Program, players may come from anywhere in District 1 (generally between Corning and Yreka).
