OSYB Opening Day Ceremonies Updates

OSYB Families,

Our opening day celebrations are tomorrow! Let's kick off our spring season with some great food, fun activities, and (maybe the best part) baseball. We are so grateful to the amazing people who have spent countless hours preparing for this day. Please be sure to sign up to help out at tables, the snack stand, or with raffles and the silent auction. We need your help to really make this event a huge success!

There is a lot going on, so please be sure to mark your calendars with your team picture time (these are posted on your schedule as a practice), your game time (also posted on your schedule), and the parade for all teams. If you are missing your order form for pictures, you can find a printable copy on our website in the news section. Please note that to get ready for the parade, we are asking that all teams be at the fields at 5:45 p.m. Teams will be meeting up along the north fence of field #2 (southeast field). After the parade, our Shetland and Pinto games will begin. It is such a big deal for our younger kids to play under the lights, and we are excited to have all of our wonderful families here to cheer them on!

In addition to the games, we have planned an amazing day for families to enjoy. We'll have hot dogs and hamburgers from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m., and the snack bar will be open until the end of the Shetland and Pinto games. We are also excited to welcome back Scottsdale's Mayor Lane to throw out the first pitch! Don't forget to stop by our auction table where we have some amazing items up for auction and some awesome baskets that our teams have created! Some of the items we will have available are:

Autographed memorabilia

Tickets to an ASU baseball games
and a whole lot more!

Raffle tickets are one for $2 or 3 for $5, with auction items starting at as low as $10. Be sure to stop by and place a bid or buy some tickets for our baskets. The auction and raffle will begin at 2:00 and close at 7:00, with the winners being announced around 7:15. You do not need to be present to win! Invite your neighbors and friends; they won't want to miss out!

Please be respectful in the neighborhood. Remember that the speed limit is 25 on Osborn. Please do not park in the alleys, and be sure to park so that you're not blocking any driveways or alley entrances. We want to ensure that we're respecting everyone around the fields so that we're always welcome!
