Old Scottsdale Youth Baseball, a community-driven volunteer-run organization, serving the greater Scottsdale area, provides an outlet for healthful activity and training for boys and girls to learn and play baseball. We are dedicated to fostering teamwork and sportsmanship, developing physical skills and teaching the fundamentals of baseball.

Old Scottsdale Youth Baseball (OSYB) has been providing a safe place for the youth of our community to enjoy the game of baseball for many years; long before the league’s official incorporation in 1989. The league officially changed its name to Old Scottsdale Youth Baseball in 2003, when it became affiliated with PONY Baseball. OSYB strongly believes in and adheres to the principles outlined by PONY – Protect Our Nation’s Youth.

OSYB is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization. We depend entirely upon the generosity of our team sponsors, registration fees and donations to fund this program. The players in the league are provided uniforms, equipment, awards, safely maintained playing fields, and insurance. The league is administered by a volunteer Board of Directors and teams are coached by volunteer parents. No one is compensated for their efforts as board members or coaches.

As a non-profit organization, OSYB also relies on fundraising efforts to accomplish projects not afforded by registration fees and sponsorship. These efforts include sales at the Snack Stand, tickets to Diamondback games, raffles and other special events. The league provides scholarships for a significant number of underprivileged kids that would otherwise not be able to play baseball.

We are requesting your help in sponsorship of OSYB for this season. To simplify sponsorship opportunities, we have three sponsorship options available for the calendar year.  Please see our sponsor information sheet and sponsor form for more information to the right.
