Shetland Division-6U
Type of play | Tee and Coach Pitch |
Description | Players normally use a Tee to hit the ball off of, but are allowed the option of taking swings at a coach pitched ball as the season progresses. Emphasis is on learning the game and not meant to be competitive. Scores are not announced or recorded. All players are allowed in the field on defense and coaches are allowed to be on the field to advise them. Play stops when an infielder holds up the ball. On offense all players bat. A team bats until three outs are recorded or six runs are scored. |
Teams | 4-6 years old league age. Teams are formed by coach and division director request. Friend and coach requests will be honor to the best of the league’s ability to ensure fair game play. |

Pinto Division-8U
Type of play | Machine Pitch |
Description | A pitching machine is used to get the players familiar with hitting a pitched ball. Like T-ball the emphasis is on learning the game and the games should only be mildly competitive. To limit runaway scores a team which is ahead is only allowed to score six runs each inning. A team is allowed ten players and one coach on defense. Play stops when an infielder holds up the ball. On offense all players are put in the batting order and are allowed five swings at the ball. Catching equipment is used but primarily to get players used to it. |
Teams | 7-8 years old league age. 6 yrs old have an option to play up to this division. Teams are formed by coach and division director request. Friend and coach requests will be honor to the best of the league’s ability to ensure fair game play. |

Games | 1:15 no new inning, 1:30 drop-dead, Weekdays 5:00-6:30pm, Saturday Mornings. Note: Fall Weekday times may be shortened to 1 hour drop-dead depending on sunset times. Spring times move to 5:30-7pm as soon as sunset hits 7pm. |

Mustang Division-10U

Description | First level of play at which real baseball is played. Players are taught pitching, catching, lead-offs, stealing, etc. |
Teams | 8-10 years old league age. 7 year olds may request to play up. Formed by coach draft with optional try-outs. Coach/friend requests will be honored if possible, not guaranteed. |

Description | Base and Pitching distances increase over Mustang and game time increases. |
Teams | 10-12 years old league age. 9 year olds may play up. Formal try-outs are required and used to do a coach draft. |

Description | Base, Pitching and game times increase. Interleague play every Saturday. |
Teams | 13-14 years old league age. 12 year olds may play up. |
