Ballston Spa Pop Warner provides the opportunity for children ages 3-18 to participate in our cheerleading program. Our Cheerleaders learn much more than the sport of cheerleading as members of one of our teams. Lifelong skills such as commitment, dedication, and responsibility are character traits that become part of each of our cheerleaders as they advance through our program.

Practices will begin mid-July, and each team's practice schedule will be given in advance. Practices will typically be held behind the high school football field or other high school fields to begin with, and then we will move inside to one of our district's buildings come September, sometimes earlier. Unfortunately, due to limited space, our practice locations are subject to change.  Ballston Spa Pop Warner is a competitive cheerleading program that is not affiliated with Ballston Spa CSD. We are not currently affiliated with any football program or teams, so there is no cheering at games. Cheerleaders will participate in practices, showcases, competitions, and other fun events!

All teams will perform at the Capital District Cheerleading Competition and Empire State Classic Competition.  All of our competitive teams may earn the opportunity to compete at additional competitions such as the Pop Warner Eastern Region Championship, Pop Warner National Championship, and YCADA Globals. A list of all dates and locations is listed under important dates.
