Mr. Florida's King of Boys Basketball

Paxons Isaiah adams is only the second player in Jacksonville's history to be named Florida's Mr. Basketball. The first player to be recognized for this prestigious award is James Collins.

James Collins brought home the trophy in 1993 who went on to have a stellar career at Florida State University and later drafted by the Los Angeles Clippers and several other teams in the NBA.

Adams joins the likes of James Collins, Vince Carter and Amare Stoudemire in the list of Mr. Basketball winners, which began in 1983 with Frank Ford of Kissimmee Osceola.
