Objective: To offer a competitive non-sanctioned “Tournament” league consisting of single age teams – Select, Elite, and Premier from around the Houston area, ages 6 through 14. Age groups 6 thru 14 will accept all levels — Select, Elite, and Premier teams. Depending on teams’ requested play dates we will try our best to not schedule a Premier team against a Select team. Classification will be determined by current Nations/USSSA class—if not classified, teams will be select

How much does it cost to join? $900 per team Ages 9 to 14. $800 per team Ages 6 to 8. A $100 discount will be offered to teams that register and pay by January 28, 2019. In addition, teams paying by January 28, 2019 will be eligible for two free 2-hour practices on Sunday or during the week before Feb. 2, 2019.

Where are games played and when do they begin? Games will be played at Four Seasons Park, 4702 Katy-Hockley Cut-off Road, beginning February 13, 2019.

How many games will each team play? Each team will play an 8-game season – two games may be scheduled on the same day. Rings provided for 1st and 2ndplace of the 8-game season. Ring provided to head coach of 1st place team

Which days of the week will teams play? Games will be scheduled every other Wednesday and Sunday in the same week. Some games may be scheduled on Saturday evenings. Due to rain or other events, make-up games will be scheduled on the first available date and may occur on weeknights, Saturday afternoons, or against different opponents.

Key Dates: Teams will provide their preference for game dates. Schedules will be made based on requests as well as field availability. Every effort will be made to begin Sunday games no earlier than 10:00 am, but this is entirely subject to the number of teams and team availability. Games will be scheduled on the following dates:

February 13th, 17th , 27th
March 3rd , 13th , 17th , 27th , 31st
April 10th, 14th, 24th (makeup only), 28th (makeup only), May 8th (makeup only), May 12th (makeup only)

Schedules: Game schedules will be available by February 10, 2019. Once original schedules have been released, game schedules will not be changed during the season due to team conflicts. Make-up games will be scheduled on the first available date. Once schedules are published there will be no refunds under any circumstances. A minimum 72 hour “no-show” notice must be provided to league officials to avoid forfeiture of all remaining games.

Registration: Full payment and a completed registration form must be received by February 5, 2019 unless arrangements are made for a late payment. You may mail your check and registration form to Katy Pony Baseball, P.O. Box 502, Katy, TX 77492. Age groups may be limited to the first 6 teams paid. Payment in full is the only way to secure a spot … early registration and full payment is the only way to ensure your team is guaranteed a spot. Teams may also deliver their payment in person to the facility office at Four Seasons Park.

Requirements: Teams must register with West Houston Baseball at www.westhoustonbaseball.com to participate. Managers must sign an agreement to ensure proper behavior and conduct of the team’s coaches, players, parents and fans in the spirit of good sportsmanship and fair play.
