Big
shoutout to the Anchor Bay Angels players and families who helped make
the ball fields at New Baltimore’s Festival Park look beautiful and
ready to go for the new season! Nearly 40 volunteers came out to work on
the fields...moving 20 tons - yes, 20 TONS - of dirt, raking mountains
of leaves, cleaning up garbage, edging the fields, pulling weeds,
dragging the fields and more. The four fields look the best since I’ve
been going there.
Giving back to the community is an important
lesson to teach our kids and we all did a good job teaching and learning
doing this together.
Thank you to Darrin Galas and Precision
Landscape for their help and donation. Also, thanks to Rich at Phoenix
Stone in Mt. Clemens for their donation. Couldn’t have done it without
you!
