  1. Support my child and provide a positive environment for learning about and enjoying soccer.

  2. Support the coaches, officials, and OSC Board Members and its agents working with my child to encourage a positive and enjoyable experience for all.

  3. Encourage good sportsmanship by demonstrating positive support for all players, coaches, game officials, and OSC Board Members and its agents.

  4. Place the emotional and physical well-being of all players ahead of any personal desire to win.

  5. Remember that the game is for the players, not for the adults.

  6. Require my child to treat other players, coaches, game officials, OSC Board Members and its agents, and spectators with dignity and respect.

  7. Not interfere or attempt to ‘educate’ the coach during practices and games.

  8. Speak with my child’s coach privately if I want or need to share any concerns or issues related to my child.

  9. Not possess, distribute, or use alcohol, drugs, and unauthorized prescription drugs before, during, or after practices and games, or any OSC related event.

  10. Not criticize or argue with any game official.

  13. Share any concerns, grievances, or issues with the Safety Director after the game.

  14. Not request, require, or otherwise offer financial compensation to any volunteer coach, referee, or any volunteer member of OSC during the soccer season.

  15. Not bring any pet to a practice, game, or OSC event, regardless of pet size, breed, or demeanor. I understand that OSC maintains a strict No Pets Allowed policy.

  16. Ensure my guests understand and abide by this Code of Conduct.

I understand that OSC is managed by unpaid volunteers trying to do their best for players, families, and the community at large. I agree to support OSC in any manner I can to provide a stellar recreation soccer program for Oakdale area youth. Further, I understand that failure to comply with the OSC Parent Code of Conduct will result in my child’s suspension from OSC activities, temporarily or permanently.

Opening Day News

September 8th is Opening Day for our Fall Recreation Season.
We have plenty to participate in and hope you check it out.

Most teams have pictures on Saturday and followed by a game.
Additionally, we have Positive Coaching Alliance coming to provide two sessions for our parents. We are super jazzed about our partnership and would love you to check one of the sessions at 10a or 11a by the snack shack.

We have vendors and DJ Francisco on site to add to our fun and festivities.
Our team, coach, and sponsor announcements will be at game time on your game field. No lining up and getting there early!
Parents we would love to have you create a tunnel for our players to run through and break the banner before they start their game.
We will provide the banner -- you provide the fun!

We look forward to having all of you join us and celebrate our players and soccer.

Players participating in our Fall Recreational program Divisions U10 and U12 are required to participate in our Assessment Day on Saturday, June 23rd.

A basic assessment is an essential requirement for three reasons:
1) it helps to identify their skill sets in terms of ability and talent
2) enables the coach to create a training program to enhance their development
3) provides an opportunity to have equitable teams

If your player is participating in U10-U12 divisions, then please attend according to times below:

U10 Boys and Girls Divisions: Check in at 830a; Assessment from 9a-1030a on Field 2

U12 Boys and Girls Divisions: Check in at 830a: Assessment from 9a-1030a on Field 1

Please make certain your player wear proper cleats, shin guards, and bring their own soccer ball and water.

Head Coaches for these divisions are required to attend and participate.
Please meet our Director of Recreation, Nick Birchall, at 845a to prep for assessments.

Please let us know if you have any questions. We can be reached at [email protected].
