Spring Baseball 2024

Welcome to Southington South's Little League Registration for the 2024 Spring Season. We are introducing new division age-ranges this Spring along with interleague play with North and West throughout the regular season for all divisions except T-Ball.

Age Ranges and Registration Deadlines

See the following league age guide for better direction:

LL Majors (league ages 9-12) - deadline is 2/1/24
Triple-A (player pitch, league ages 8-11) - deadline is 3/1/24
Double-A (coach pitch transition to player pitch, league ages 6-8; one season of Single-A is required) - deadline is 3/1/24
Single-A (coach pitch, league ages 5-7; one season of T-Ball is required) - deadline is 3/1/24
T-Ball (league ages 4-6, must be 4 years of age by 4/1/24) - deadline is 4/1/24
Intermediate, Juniors and Seniors (league ages 13-16) - deadline is 5/1/24

Registration Information

Before you register online, please have the following uploaded/ready: your player's birth certificate, their health insurance information, and a proof of their residency (see "Residency Rules" below).
Players not selected to a LL Majors team will play in the Triple-A Division. 8yr old players not selected for a Triple-A team will play in the Double-A Division. New players must attend an evaluation. Only coaches and players are allowed to attend tryouts.
For Derynoski and Oshana students: for the "Little League School" question, enter "None" as Derynoski and Oshana boundaries are in all 3 Southington Little leagues so residency is by home address.
For all players being evaluated (Double-A up to LL Majors), expect to hear from coordinators or coaches within a week of your player's evaluation.
The T-Ball Coordinator will contact T-Ball families in early April with team info (no evaluation needed).
Junior and Senior league players will be contacted later in the spring once Southington High School and Middle School teams are finalized (no evaluation needed).
We will finalize a plan for the concession stand, which may involve volunteer support. More to come throughout the Registration Season.

Residency Rules

Residence shall be established and supported by documents containing the full residence, which includes parent(s) or guardian(s) name, street address, city, state and zip code information, dated or in force between February 1 of the previous year and February 1 of the current year, from one or more documents from EACH of the three Groups outlined below:

Group II

Welfare/Child Care Records
Federal Records (i.e., Federal Tax, Social Security, etc.)
State Records
Local (Municipal) Records

Group III

Voter’s Registration
Utility Bills (i.e., Gas, Electric, Water/Sewer, Phone, Heating, Waste Disposal)
Financial Records
Medical Records
Internet, Cable, or Satellite Records
