Bears Tail Basketball is a nonprofit that is Native American owned and operated located in Bismarck, ND. Our focus is to offer more opportunities through basketball for the youth who come from low-income areas such as reservations. Our goal is to educate and empower the youth with confidence, leadership, commitment and integrity, so they can live a productive and successful tomorrow. Our staff and board members consist of Native American educators, social workers, political leaders, and coaches who have a common goal to help all children become positive leaders of their communities. We have high expectations and will not stop teaching the values of life.

Our mission is to teach, develop, and offer youth players the opportunity to learn the fundamental skills of basketball while instilling life-lessons and values such as leadership, integrity, team work, discipline, respect and sportsmanship.
