St. Louise Baseball participates in the Bethel Park Baseball (BPB) Recreational League, offering a development-focused
baseball program for players ages 4–14. The program emphasizes fundamentals, teamwork, sportsmanship, and community
values in a family-friendly environment aligned with St. Louise parish and school.
Program Objectives
• Teach baseball fundamentals and skill development
• Encourage enjoyment of the game and continued participation
• Provide fair playing time and opportunities to learn multiple positions
• Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, respect, and personal growth
• Offer a safe, inclusive environment for players of all skill levels
• Support school and parish community through athletics
Divisions & Age Groups
Baseball :
• Tee Ball (Ages 4–5) – Played at St. Louise fields only
• Shetland (Ages 5–6)
• Pinto / Coach Pitch (Ages 7–8)
• Mustang / Kid Pitch (Ages 9–10)
• Bronco (Ages 11–12)
Pony: (Ages 13-14)
League Structure & Schedule
• Most teams play 1–2 games per week
• Teams typically hold 3–4 practices during the first two weeks of the season
• Practices are primarily held at St. Louise fields
• Indoor practice space may be used when weather or field conditions require
• Field improvements at St. Louise are ongoing
Season Timeline
• Practices begin mid-March
• Games run from early April through late May
• Teams can expect approximately 12 games during the season
Coaching & Volunteers
• Teams are led by volunteer coaches with current clearances
• Coaches focus on instruction, effort, and player development
• The program thrives with the support and involvement of parents
• Parents are encouraged and welcomed to volunteer as coaches, assistant coaches, team parents, or scorekeepers
Registration & Communication
• Spring registration runs January 16 – February 20 via Sports Connect
• GameChanger will be used for scheduling, scores, and team communication
• Uniforms are included with registration
• Team photos will be taken at St. Louise in early April; makeup sessions available
St. Louise Baseball is focused on providing a safe, organized, and development-oriented experience. The program depends
on parent involvement and welcomes coaching and volunteer support to ensure a positive season for all players.
