Mission:
The purpose of the St. Louise de Marillac Baseball Program is to provide an opportunity for children of the school, parish and surrounding communities to play supervised baseball at a developmental, recreational and competitive level in a Christian environment.
General:
St. Louise de Marillac Baseball Program is a self-funded non-profit organization that participates in the Bethel Church League (BCL) for competitive divisions and utilizing St. Louise field facilities. Operational funding for the program comes from player registration fees, team/division sponsorships and donations. There is no financial support from the St. Louise Athletic Association, school or parish.
- St. Louise Baseball is governed as follows:
- Program Director
- Asst. Program Director
- Developmental Division Director
- Competitive Division Coordinators
- The official positions denoted above, comprise the St. Louise Baseball Board to provide guidance and recommendations for matters concerning St. Louise baseball.
- In addition, two (2) St. Louise Baseball Board (STLBB) members sit on the BCL Board.
- The emphasis of the program is to:
- Create a recreational and instructional environment in which the participants can learn the game and have fun playing the game of baseball.
- Provide the benefits to play on a team sport stressing a recreational format to managers and coaches offering equal participation during the game and at each position, so that players are properly prepared to compete at the next level.
