T-Ball is where the youngest players start. They are usually pre-school and kindergartners. They must be at least 4 year's old by April 1st. They will learn the very basics of baseball in a fun learning environment. Players hit the ball off of a Tee.
The season starts after spring break.
Practices will be determined by the coach. There may be one or two practices a week. Practices are usually held at Mari-Linn School.
Games are Saturdays at 10 am. Home games will be at Robert's Field in Mehama.Away games will be held in a variety of locations including Stayton, Sublimity, Scio, and Mill City.T-ball players will need a glove, helmet and a good pair of running shoes. Cleats are optional.The Mehama Ball Park team pant color is black.The Mehama Ball Park will provide a team jersey and hat.Teams will also have bats and balls. Players may use their own bats.If your player does not have a helmet, we may be able to loan one to them for the season. Sharing of helmets is discouraged.All players, parents, and coaches are required to review concussion training. Review concussion information at:
