The Southern Illinois Middle School Soccer (SIMSS) program was started in 2015. Each Spring, around 30 boys and girls teams representing school districts from all over the area compete in a competitive middle school soccer program for fifth, sixth, seventh, and eighth graders. 

Current SIMSS Participating Programs: Anna, Carbondale, Carterville, Hardin County, Harrisburg, Marion, Massac County, Murphysboro, Pinckneyville, Salem, and Vienna.
