The Booster Club’s MissionThe main objective of the Legacy High School Boosters is to support the Legacy High School Football Program in their activities throughout the season. The football program includes Freshmen, Junior Varsity and Varsity players (the program). The Booster organization is a cooperative effort among the Football Coaches, team members, member parents and interested supporters. One of the main functions of the Booster Club is to drive and manage and track fundraising for the football program.
The Board of Directors is made up of a President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, Grade-Level Coordinators, Merchandise Coordinator, and Concessions Coordinator. These positions are voted on annually. Booster Club Members may notify the Board if they are interested in running for a position. A new Board will be voted on and announced annually.
The Board of Directors meets regularly (approximately monthly or more frequently, as needed).
Who can be a Member of the Booster Club?
- Any parent, guardian, grandparent of the football team members, which may also include any alumni interested in the Legacy High School Football program, may be an active member of the organization.
- Any student currently participating as a member of the football team is a student member of the Booster Club and is encouraged to attend the regularly scheduled meetings.
- Football Coaches may attend regularly scheduled meetings of the Board.
- Only parents and guardians of the currently enrolled LHS students present at the regularly scheduled meetings will be able to vote on issues presented to the general membership or run for the Board of Directors.
- No dues will be charged for membership in the organization.
The Booster Meetings are held monthly at the high school. Current football news and events will be shared and fundraising opportunities presented. Please plan to attend these meetings; it is a great way to meet other football families and to support the program! The schedule of meetings is posted on the website calendar.
There are many ways Booster Members can be involved in the efforts of the Booster Club; volunteer opportunities for Booster Members include: football camps, website management, golf tournament, team and player pictures, senior banquet, car wash, program sponsorships and program ads, concessions, team dinners, and fundraisers. If you have any fundraising ideas, or are interested in helping with any events or tasks, please contact any Board Member to discuss.
We need the support of all football players and families to help make this program successful!
