Jimmy Griffin

Jimmy Griffin was a Legacy High School student who passed away on October 12, 2003, two days after his 17thbirthday due to an unfortunate car accident. Jimmyattended Nativity of Our Lord Grade School and went to Legacy High School. Jimmy was on the honor roll and played for the Legacy High School Football team. If youwere fortunate enough to know Jimmy, you knew of his kindness and compassion for others. Jimmy was also an organ donor. His Legacy was the gift of life.

So many people in the Broomfield community were so touched by him and rallied to our side during our horrible ordeal. We felt we would like to give something back tothe community in Jimmy’s name sot that he will never be forgotten.

We have a Scholarship Fund in his name and would be most appreciative of your tax-deductible donation for this fund. The Scholarship will go to a Legacy HighSchool senior to be used for college tuition. The first Scholarship was given in 2004/2005 school year, class of 2005. Since then, with all the donations and support,Jimmy’s name has lived on. With your continued support the Jimmy Griffin Scholarship will continue for years to come.

We appreciate your help and support.
