2021 Junior and Senior District 73 Local rules
No new inning may start after 2 hours 15 minutes for ALL games.
15 run rule after 4 innings; 10 run rule after 5 innings is in effect.
Each team will provide two new baseballs per game.
Team that provides field is home team first game; travel team is home team second game. (If the same teams are playing a double header only)
Home team is official book.
League where game is played will provide umpires.
Use District Pitcher’s Eligibility Form. Pregame: Managers/Umpire meet at home plate and confirm ineligible pitchers. After game: Fill out form completely. Make sure pitch counts are correct, days’ rest, proper signatures and any incidents that should be noted.
All bats will be inspected by District personnel prior to them being used in a game and when approved, a tamper proof sticker will be placed on the bat identifying they are legal. NO bat is to be used without a sticker.
Illegal Bats:
Rule 6.06 (d) will be strictly enforced
If a bat once removed from a game for being illegal shows up at a subsequent game, the following consequence(s) will then take effect:
Player who owns said bat and manager of team will be suspended for the remainder of that game plus the following game that they are in attendance.
If a bat is found back in any subsequent game after the suspension, the owner of the bat and the manager will be gone the remainder of the season.
