The staff at Minnesota E.F.F.O.R.T would like to thank you for taking part of your time to learn about the program. Although we are in our first year as an organization, our coaches emphasize to players the importance of developing as a young person alongside their improvement as a basketball player. We plan on playing in approximately 6-8 tournaments each year from Sioux Falls to Omaha to the Twin Cities Metro, with a focus of playing in Sioux Falls.

The staff at Minnesota E.F.F.O.R.T has a love for the game and for teaching it to the youth. Coaching can be a relentless lifestyle, but with the amazing talent in our area, our job becomes fun and exciting. This area talent can go unnoticed due to playing on "out-state" teams, but has shown itself when in the State Tournament. Since the 2006-07 season, Southwest Minnesota has had a team in the Semi-Finals 22 times, with 12 of those teams advancing to their respective State Championship Game. 7 of those 12 teams brought State Championship hardware back to our region.

The staff has put in a lot of time working to start another high level spring basketball club in Southwest Minnesota, and we ask that players, parents and fans help us in continuing to grow and be successful!

We also ask that every player and parent bring the qualities of E.F.F.O.R.T to the program, along with a positive attitude. We will continually do our best to put the best teams possible for our program on the floor, but players and parents need to remember that we are here to grow as players and people, and most importantly to have fun. Respect for teammates, parents, coaches, officials, and anyone else involved is an expectation that runs high in our program, and disrespect for others will not be tolerated.

We are excited for a great year, and we can’t wait to get started!
