PLAYERS AGE 8 TO 15
Skills Assessment
o Patriot Park
o Saturday, March 12th
o Check website for specific times
Pre-Season Practices
o Times will be chosen by team managers by 23rd, and communicated to their teams
o Practices will begin by Monday, March 28th
o Each team will have one weeknight and one weekend practice time slot
Game Schedule
o Once the regular season game schedule begins, the pre-season practice schedule ends
o Games will begin as early as Monday, May 9th and end on Thursday, June 30th
o All regular season games will be scheduled for Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays only
o Teams will typically play two games per week, and the nights may vary week to week
o The annual All Star Games for the Minors AAA (10/11s) and Majors (11/12s) Divisions will take place on Wednesday, June 15th
o The annual All Star Game for the Juniors (13/14/15s) is tentatively scheduled to take place on Monday, June 20th
o Depending on rainouts and makeups, certain games may be rescheduled for days other than Mon/Tue/Thu
o Teams may still use their weekend practice time slot, unless blacked out for other groups’ games or tournaments
PLAYERS AGE 6 AND 7
Skills Assessment
o There is no Skills Assessment for these age groups
Practices and Games
o The season begins on the Tuesday after Memorial Day – May 31st
o All practices and games for these age will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays only
o Tuesdays will be PRACTICE DAYS, and Thursdays will be GAME DAYS, with two exceptions:
The first Thursday (June 2nd) will be a PRACTICE DAYThe last Tuesday (June 28th) will be a GAME DAY
o All games on the final night of the season, scheduled for Thursday, June 30th, are scheduled to be played at Patriot Park
o All other games will be played at Collins Park, Harmon Park, or the Southwest diamond at West Lincolnway Park
CHALLENGER PLAYERS (AGE 4-22)
· Practices and Games
o Games begin on Wednesday, June 1st at 6:00 pm
o Each night will begin with a brief practice/warmup period before the game starts
o There will be a total of five games, and they will be played each Wednesday in June (1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd and 30th)
o The venue for these games is the Brad Bowman Accessible Field at Patriot Park
