Happy New Year to all of our HHLL family!
As some of you may know, we have elected a great new Board for the 2019 Little League season and I am your new League President. We are excited to get the year started and we hope you are as well. Our Board has put in a considerable amount of time striving to improve not only your child's experience but our parents’ experience for this coming season. One exciting new addition to the league is girls softball! We hope to have two divisions to get things started, so stay local and signup with HHLL. We have made a change in the registration fee for the girls softball to be more in line with the surrounding leagues (see below)
Below is some VERY IMPORTANT information:
- Tryouts for the Farm, Minor, and Major Divisions are scheduled for this Saturday, January 12th. There is a possibility of rain so IF we have to cancel please check your emails, our website, and our social media pages for up to the minute information. We will not make a final decision until early Saturday morning when we can see the amount of water that may be on the fields. Raffle tickets for all divisions can be picked up and turned in at tryouts.
- There will be prizes for the top 3 sellers.
- 1st prize: Nintendo Switch
- 2nd prize: $100 GC to Game Stop or Target
- 3rd prize: $50 GC to Game Stop or Target
- **If you registered online - you still need to come to a registration date to complete the process, and that includes picking up raffle tickets & getting a Tryout Time (if applicable)
- Our scheduled makeup date for tryouts is next Saturday, Jan 19th.
- We are adding TWO in person signup dates for this week: Thursday, Jan 10th and Friday, Jan 11th from 6PM to 8PM on both days. We will be set up in the Board Room.
- We will also be waiving any late signup fees through this weekend ending 1-13-19 so get them all signed up in person or online.
- WE ARE CHANGING (LOWERING) OUR SOFTBALL SIGNUP REGISTRATION FEE TO $100 SO PLEASE GET YOUR GIRLS SIGNED UP EITHER ONLINE OR IN PERSON
- We still need a few managers for the Major and TBall Divisions.
- Divisions are filling up so it’s important to register T-ballers, Machine Pitch, Farm, Minor and Major kids ASAP.
- HHLL is in need of facility repairs and maintenance so any parents who are tradesmen in electrical, concrete, painting and a general all around handyman who can donate time and or materials please contact us.
