Registration Frequently Asked Questions

When does Spring season registration occur?
Baseball and Softball registration occurs every year beginning in late fall (October 19, 2019 for the 2020 Spring season) and runs through January of the following year (register and pay fees in available programs by January 2020 to guarantee a spot for the 2020 Spring season).  The spring season officially kicks off the first weekend in March and continues through late May/early June. 

If I registered online, how do I provide you my child's proof-of-birthdate (i.e. birth certificate) and proof-of-residence?

Once you register and pay fees online, your registration is finalized only when we can verify your child's proof-of-birthdate and proof of residence (showing you reside within our boundaries). 

If your child did not play in our league last season and/or you have not already provided us with a copy of your child's birth certificate and HHLL Boundary residence documents, it is a requirement that ALL players must provide a proof-of-age document (i.e. birth certificate) and proof-of-residence (or attend schools within our league boundaries) to be eligible to play in the upcoming season.

If you provided a proof-of-age/proof-of-residence documents in a previous season, Hacienda Heights Little League has kept your verification on file and you do not have to provide it again.

Proof-of-Residence and Age 

You can submit your documents online using the "My Account" section. Select the square pencil icon for the participant and use the "Upload Birth Certificate" button to attach and submit all proof of documents.  Only one document can be uploaded, so scan all pages into one document.  Repeat this process for each participant.

How old does my child need to be to play?
Boys and girls between league ages 4 and 14 years of age can participate in our baseball program. Girls between league ages 7 and 12 can participate in our softball program.

What are the registration fees before discounts?

The amounts listed below are 2019 Spring fees:

Boys & Girls Baseball*
1st Child: $115
2nd Child: $150
3rd+ Child: $115
Tee-Ball: $115

Girls Softball*
7-12 year-old (Farm, Minors, Majors) Softball: $100

*Fees listed on this page do not include the following:
a) $60 Snack Bar Deposit and will be refunded when you have fulfilled your Snack Bar Duties.
b) $100/child Raffle Tickets - Mandatory League Fundraiser

What does my registration include?
Your registration includes cap, jersey, and basic picture package. Medals/trophies are included for all tee-ball players. Medals/trophies for player-pitch divisions are only provided for the top 2 teams after playoffs. You will need to supply a glove, cleats or field shoes, and pants for your player. Most players wait until they are assigned a team to determine pant colors.

Note: Refunds for the Spring 2020 season must be requested in writing to the HHLL Treasurer ([email protected]) by February 1, 2020.

Does my child need to tryout? When will evaluations/tryouts be held?

All baseball players league age 7 & up who are enrolled in a baseball program or any softball division players in Farm, Minors and Majors must attend at least one tryout/evaluation. All registered players make teams and evaluations are used to assess skill level and guide player placement processes both within and between divisions. A tryout date and time will be assigned to a player at the time of registration.

What forms of payment do you accept?
Online payments using Visa and Mastercard are available for your convenience. At our Onsite Registration dates, we accept all credit cards, cash, checks, and Zelle (easier bank transfers).
