2025 Spearfish Summer Softball sign up

We are excited to announce summer softball sign ups!  We realize it may seem a little early to start thinking about softball, but this process has to start early for field scheduling, equipment purchasing, and uniform ordering. 

We anticipate softball game season starting in mid May and ending as late as mid July (state tournaments if your team chooses to go to State).  With games starting in May and our lovely weather always cooperating with practice schedules, we need to get sign ups and team assignments done very soon.  Registration closes 2/15/25 so we can get field schedules completed by 3/1/25. 

If you are interested in having your player move up an age division.  Please sign your child up in the program available and email  [email protected] with your players name and age division you are wanting your player(s) to register in.   

Once sign ups are complete, there will be a parent meeting set up to discuss the following:

1.       Depending on sign up numbers, set number of teams for each level

2.       Winter workouts and clinics

3.       If we get enough sign ups, discuss tryouts and practice structure for each level

4.       Discuss options for rec league (less competitive Northern Hills setting) & travel teams (Rapid City league and travel tournaments).  We will also discuss the higher level of commitment and cost for the travel teams.

5.       Cover coaching opportunities and team management opportunities for parents

6.       Discuss tournaments that we host and expected assistance from parents, these tournaments keep our fees as low as possible so we need parent support!
