Maestros Programming

The Chicago Soccer Institute has some great programming for any aged player and for players of all abilities. We have programs for players as young as 3 years old and we have programs for players in college.

  • Mini Maestros (3-4 years old): It is an introductory program to the game of soccer. We used a game based approach, so players can learn soccer within activities they are already familiar with. Every class is taught by a licensed professional coach. We use a comprehensive curriculum throughout the duration of the class to expose our youngest players to soccer skills, physical literacy (running, jumping, balance), and enjoyment of the game that breeds confidence. Classes run for 45 minutes in six week or eight week sessions.
  • Middle Maestros (5-7 years old): Our second stage in The Chicago Soccer institute's core programming. We provide players with a game based approach where they spend the entire hour playing the game we all have grown to love. Players arrive and they will play a small-sided game guided by the coaches with what we want to accomplish for the day. We will then provide some practice at the skills we want them to accomplish for the day. The players will finish each session by playing a small-sided game where we coach the players on how to apply the newly learned skills while playing in the game. Every class is taught by a licensed professional coach. Classes run for 60 minutes in six week or eight week sessions.
  • Master Maestros (8-10 years old): We have expanded our ages this year to allow for more players to take part in a training that will be enjoyable, genuine, and challenging. We use the same approach to each session as we did in Middle Maestros. We believe that providing players a realistic view of the game is important. Another tenet of The Chicago Soccer Institute is allowing players the opportunities to make decisions on their guided by the skills they have learned within the practice environment. Our professional staff will lead each session from a carefully organized plan in order to maximize player's potential in each session. Classes run for 60 minutes in six week or eight week sessions.
