Recreational soccer is the backbone of NASA Tophat - Smyrna. The recreational level of play is an ideal and vibrant entry point for the player who wants to be introduced to the game, play with friends, and participate on a team. Recreational soccer is open to all players and is primarily devoted to the enjoyment of the sport and development of soccer players.

The recreational program is committed to teaching the sport of soccer in a fun and stress-free environment. It is open to players of all skill levels and abilities, and focuses on developing players with their technical skills. Players in the recreational program will practice for 10 weeks and play 8 games in a season, weather permitting. 

• AGES:3 1/2 years old to 19 years old
  
• SEASONS: Fall (August - November) & Spring (February - May)
• GAMES: In-House Games or Inter-Club Games, depending on age
• PRACTICES: One or Two Nights a Week, depending on age
• COACHES: Volunteer Parent Coaches
• TRYOUTS: No Tryout, everyone plays
• COST: Range from $140 - $175*

**Please note the registration fee DOES NOT include uniforms. Uniforms are purchased separately through soccer.com, at https://www.soccer.com/club/21722348. New uniforms will be required this season of all players, returning and new.

• Registration Deadline – August 17th  All registrations received after this date are subject to a late fee and placement on a waiting list

• Coaches Meeting – August 25th Smyrna Community Center

• Coaches Contacts To Players Begin – August 24th      

• Parent Orientation Meeting – August 27th Smyrna Community Center

• Coaches Contacts To Players To Be Completed – August 28th    

• Practices Begin – August 31st  

• In-House Games Schedules Release – September 4th  

• Games Begin – September 12th 

• Cobb County Fall Break – October 3rd No games this weekend for in house teams

• Fall Finale – November 7th
