VYSL History

VYSL was created in 1995 by a team of 8-10 concerned soccer enthusiasts who desired a more well-rounded soccer program for the youth of Victorville. This group met with city council members, made presentations to the Park & Recreation Committee, and spent countless hours meeting with experts within CYSA and District 5.  VYSL kicked off with a big Inaugural Opening Day.  It was a big soccer celebration, complete with game booths, a dunk tank, a skills competition, and a coaches scrimmage. Our league began with just over 400 players and has now reached up over 1,000.
