The Lancaster Gales Youth Football Association was created in 2018. Our goal is to provide a positive educational environment for all interested participants. Our offerings include both tackle and flag football as well as cheer. LGYF supports every child. All skill levels, beginner to experienced are welcome. In 2018, the LGYFA created a football association that is broken up by grade levels.  We have 3 divisions of football; the Mini DIvision is for tackle football players entering the 1st & 2nd grade, our Junior Division is for tackle football players entering the 3rd & 4th grade and the Senior Division is for tackle football players entering the 5th & 6th Grade.  The LGYFA does not accept participants who turn thirteen (13) before July 1st of the current calendar year.  

Flag Football

The New Flag Football Program is being built for a Freshman Division - ages  five (5) to six (6) and a Sophmore Division - ages seven (7) to eight (8).  Our goal is to be able to provide an educational football environment for all interested participants, on any platform; flag or tackle. We also envision a better transition for seven (7) and eight (8) years old kids, being able to recommend them for another year of flag football or endorse a move into the Junior Division.
