Divisions
The Senior Division is made up of 2-4 teams of 20-25 players in 5th and 6th grade. Players in this Division are ten (10) to thirteen (13) years old on July 1st of the current calendar year.
The Junior Division is made up of 2-4 teams of 20-25 players in 3rd and 4th grade. Players in this Division are seven (7) to ten (10) years old on July 1st of the current calendar year.
The Mini Division is made up of 1-3 teams of 20-25 players in 1st and 2nd grade. Players in this Division are five (5) to seven (7) years old on July 1st of the current calendar year.
Skills & Conditioning Camp
Every player in our program is required to participate in a Skills & Conditioning Camp to evaluate capabilities, experience and prepare them for the football season ahead. Following the Skills & Conditioning Camp, participants are drafted to their teams. Specific team requests are not honored.
Returning Players
Specific team requests are not honored.
Equipment
Equipment is distributed to the tackle football players the weekend after Conditioning Camp. The LGYFA provides a helmet with chinstrap, mouthpiece, shoulder pads and and game jersey. You provide socks, practice/game pants, practice jersey, rubber soled cleats and a groin protector.
You will also be assigned a time to return equipment at the end of the season.
Practices
In the Senior Division, Teams are permitted to practice four (4) times each week. Once school begins, teams may transition to either three(3) or four(4) practices a week, this will be communicated by yourHead Coach. However, one practice is usually non-contact and specific to conditioning or play development. Practices do not exceed two (2) hours in length and locations are communicated by the Head Coach.

Games
All games are played at Fulton Field in Lancaster, Ohio. Regular season games will go for eight weeks. Game times fluctuate each weekend.
