About Our League
Illinois Valley is an officially chartered little league of Little League Baseball, Incorporated. We offer baseball and softball to boys and girls in the Illinois Valley. As a chartered member of Little League Baseball, Inc., we follow Little League Baseball’s rules and regulations. We are ran entirely by volunteer support; from the board of directors, to coaches, assistant coaches, field maintenance  to snack shack duty.

Little league baseball can reinforce in our children so many important fundamentals we try as parents to instill – discipline, respect, sportsmanship, cooperation, persistence, and perseverance.  It offers opportunities to strive for individual and team goals and requires physical as well as mental participation.  Our goal is to create opportunities for all skill levels to have a LOT of fun, make some new friends, and experience some personal and team successes. 

Illinois Valley Little League welcomes and encourages sportsmanship, team building and interaction, sport development and athletic initiative where the fundamentals of baseball are experienced in a comprehensive and athletic environment. We emphasize children having fun while playing competitive baseball. Parents are urged to cheer for ALL players, not just their child. IV Little League wants ALL of our children to be winners and to enjoy their Little League experience! So forget the "big win" and concentrate on having fun!
