2024 Spring VYSL Rec Soccer U4-U18

Registration Closes: March 6
Season Dates: April 8 to May 24

Season Fee: $15 (U4), $40 (U6-U18). $15 Annual fee if not paid/played in the Fall or Winter of 2023. Birth certificates and player photo required for state soccer insurance validation.

Coaches needed for ALL recreational divisions. Please register as a Volunteer on our website. 
Coaches meeting will be April 1st @ 7:00 p.m., via Zoom.

U4 (Born in 2020)
Gender: Coed
Practice: Academy style 1x per week on Thursdays at 5:15pm to 6:00pm
Games: No weekend games.
Teams: U4 will play academy style. Teams may change each week based on player ability and development. A parent or adult guardian must accompany the child.

U6 (Born in 2019 and 2018)
Gender: Coed
Practice: Academy style 1x per week on Mondays at 5:15pm to 6:15pm.
Games: Saturdays at 10:15am
Teams: U6 will play academy style. Teams may change each week based on player development. and participants. Parents will self-select the appropriate field for their player(s) week 1.
Reschedule: The last week of the season (week 7) will be used for make-up dates due to weather.

U8 (Born in 2017 and 2016)
Gender: Coed
Practice: Academy style 2x per week on Mondays and Thursdays at 6:15pm to 7:15pm
Games: Saturdays at 9am
Teams: U8 will play academy style. Teams may change each week based on player development and participants. Parents will self-select the appropriate field for their player(s) week 1.
Reschedule: The last week of the season (week 7) will be used for make-up dates due to weather.

U10 (Born in 2015 and 2014)
Gender: Girl Teams & Boy Teams
Practice: Academy 1x per week on Tuesdays 5:30-6:30pm (Girls) 6:30-7:30pm (Boys). Subject to change based on coach availability. Additional 1x practice time TBD based on coach (2 practices per week total).
Games: Games will be dependent on the number of teams registered. Will play surrounding cities like Sioux City, Yankton and Sioux Falls.
Practice & Game Makeup: Based on field and coach availability. An email will be sent by the coach.

U12 (Born in 2013 and 2012)
Gender: Girl Teams & Boy Teams
Practice: Academy 1x per week on Thursdays, time TBD based on coach. Additional 1x practice time TBD based on coach (2 practices per week total).
Games: Games will be dependent on the number of teams registered. Will play surrounding cities like Sioux City, Yankton and Sioux Falls. Tournaments are a possibility with an additional cost.
Practice & Game Makeup: Based on field and coach availability. An email will be sent by the coach.

U14 to U18 Teams
Registration: VYSL is asking all players interested to register on the VYSL website with zero down. Once enough players have been registered and VYSL has secured a coach $55 will be assessed to your account with an email notification.
Gender: Girl Teams & Boy Teams (COED IF NEEDED)
Practice: 2x per week based on coach and player availability.
Games: Games will be played with surrounding towns and cities. Tournaments are a possibility with an additional cost.
