2026 Spring VYSL Rec Soccer U4-U18
Registration Closes: March 2
Season Dates: April 6 – May 21
Season Fee: $20 (U4), $50 (U6-U8), $40 (U9-U12) $15 Annual Fee if not paid in Fall/Winter 2025.
Late Registration Fee: An additional $20 March 3- April 13
**Birth certificates and current player photo required for state soccer insurance validation.**
Coaches
Needed for ALL recreational divisions. Please register as a Volunteer on our website.
The coaches meeting will be March 30th @ 7:00 p.m at the Armory
U4 (Born in 2022)
Gender: Coed
Practice/Games: Academy style 1x per week on Tuesdays at 5:15pm to 6:00pm
U4 will play academy style. A parent or adult guardian MUST accompany the player.
U6 (Born in 2021 and 2020)
Gender: Coed
Practice/Games: Mondays and Thursdays from 5:15pm to 6:15pm. Every 3rd soccer day there will be a game. NO Saturdays!
U6 will play academy style. Parents will self-select the appropriate field for their player(s) week 1. Players may change fields based on their development and participants as the season progresses.
Reschedule: Based on coach and field availability.
U8 (Born in 2019 and 2018)
Gender: Coed
Practice/Games: Mondays and Thursdays at 6:15pm to 7:15pm. Every 3rd soccer day there will be a game. NO Saturdays!
U8 will play academy style. Parents will self-select the appropriate field for their player(s) week 1. Players may change fields based on their development and participants as the season progresses.

U10 (Born in 2017 and 2016)
Gender: Girl Teams & Boy Teams (Coed if needed)
Practice/Games: Academy 1x per week on Monday 5:15-6:30pm (Girls) and Tuesday 5:15-6:30pm (Boys).
75 minutes of play: Skill development followed by small sided games up to 7v7 that focus on fun and getting touches on the ball in a safe environment.
3v3 Tournament on May 16th, 2026. U10 and U12 ONLY.
U12 (Born in 2015 and 2014)
Gender: Girl Teams & Boy Teams (Coed if needed)
Practice/Games: Academy 1x per week on Monday 5:15-6:30pm (Girls) and Tuesday 5:15-6:30pm (Boys).
75 minutes of play: Skill development followed by small sided games up to 7v7 that focus on fun and getting touches on the ball in a safe environment.

Spring Travel Soccer
Who: Birth Years 2018-2009
Tryouts: Free, date/time/location TBD
Registration: If selected for a travel team, formal registration of the player will be required to secure their spot on the roster.
Parent Meeting: There will be a meeting for parents to cover tournaments, fee structures, uniform details, player and parent expectations, practice times and locations.
*U8-U12 players interested in travel soccer MUST also participate in the rec season
