Jose Escudero

Inducted into the Mean Machine Hall of Fame April 7, 2019
Coming from Spain and only playing for the Mean Machine F.C. for a single season, Jose's impact
on the club was historically monumental. Not only did he lead his team to a championship during the Winter 2019
season, but he also demonstrated extraordinary leadership and care in the development of his teammates. While
living in Waverly, Ohio during the 2018-2019 school year, Jose did not only play for Mean Machine F.C., but he
also played for the Waverly Tigers Varsity team. While playing for the Waverly Tigers Varsity team, he won 1st
Team All-SOC & All-District Honorable Mention. Not only being one of the most talented players to come through the
club, Jose proved to be one of the best leaders to ever wear a Mean Machine F.C. uniform.
Patrick "Rick" Copple
Played for the Mean Machine F.C. from 2016-2021

Not only a player for the Mean Machine, but Patrick also consistently served as a volunteer to our younger groups.
Regardless of what was needed, Patrick always stepped up to help out. He literally bleeds for the Mean Machine,
and has always taken his role in the club, whatever that role was. Patrick finished up his Senior season with the
Waverly High School Men's Soccer program, where he played a pivotal role throughout his career with the Tigers
Patrick played varsity for the Tigers, all four years of high school and was 2nd team All SOC in 2018. Patrick was
not only a player for the Mean Machine, but a cornerstone to everything we stand for. He always competed to
the best of his ability, with a smile. Patrick is currently playing collegiality at Ohio Christian University.
Elijah McCain

Inducted into the Mean Machine Hall of Fame March 19, 2022
Elijah has consistently served as a captain within the Mean Machine. He has been a leader to his fellow teammates,
and also, a mentor to our younger players. He has been a member of the club for the majority of his
life. Being one of the top leading scorers of all time, he has also demonstrated a strong ability to effectively
assist his teammates and literally coach on the floor, while playing. Elijah played four years on the Waverly
Tigers Soccer program, playing all four years on the varsity squad. Also, while enrolled in high school, he participated
on the varsity track team, and in the following activities: PAWS, Leo Club, Rotary Interact, Spanish Club, Musical,
Literacy Club, Drama Club and Choir. He also done very well with his academics, being inducted into the National
Honor Society. Elijah plans on attending Mount Union University, under a scholarship, and studying International
Affairs and Diplomacy. His ultimate goal is to obtain a law degree.
Brandt Thompson

Inducted into the Mean Machine Hall of Fame March 19, 2022
Brandt Thompson is one of the original members of the Mean Machine, playing for the club
for the majority of his life and working with Coach Cooper since he was about nine years
old. He has always been a captain to whatever team he has played on. His speed, knowledge
of the game and ability to effectively strike on the goal has helped him lead the club in goals.
While attending Piketon High School, he not only was a member of the varsity boys’ soccer team,
but he also played football, track, cross country and power lifting. While having a strong focus
on many athletic programs at his school, he was crowned the 2022 Ohio State 135 Boys State Champion.
He is known to be one of the strongest pound for pound power lifters in the region. He
also focused on his academics, participating in the following clubs: History Club, Spanish Club
and a member of the National Honor Society. He is attending Marshall University
and studying pre-medicine and eventually working as a psychologist.
Britton Kritzwiser

Britton Kritzwiser is one of the original members of Mean Machine, playing for the club for the majority of his life.
He was also a four-year varsity soccer player, for the Waverly Tigers Soccer team. While playing with the
Tigers, he earned SOC 1st Team and 2nd Team All District Honors. During his time with the Mean
Machine, he served as a leader for his teammates and the younger players within the club. He has consistently
served as a volunteer for the club, whenever he is called upon to do so. While attending Waverly High School,
Britton participated in PAWS and on the Quiz Bowl team. He also was inducted to the National Honor Society.
Britton is continuing his education at the Ohio State University.
Aaron Haynes

Aaron Haynes has demonstrated to be a once in a lifetime goalkeeper. He has been awarded
our Most Valuable Player award multiple years in a row and his overall play and leadership in the
club has made him a consistent captain for his teams. He also volunteered and served as a
mentor to our younger players within the program. Outside of the futsal club, he was a varsity
soccer player for the Waverly High School soccer team. During his time with the team, he received
awards for the First Team All-SOC and also the First Team All-District in 2020. Although he missed
the majority of his Senior season, following a tragic injury, he still earned Second Team All-SOC
honors. While attending Waverly High School, he attended the Pike County Career & Technology
Center, where he focused his education on Business Development. During his time there, he served
served as the President of the Business Professionals of America Locally and Regionally. He earned
the Klinker's Vocational Star in 2021 and also was inducted into the National Honors Society. He plans
on attending Sinclair Community College in Dayton, Ohio and receiving a degree in Aviation.
Adam Pyzik

Adam Pyzik has consistently been a productive and core member of the Mean Machine
futsal club. While serving as a primary Ala for the club, his scoring ability will always be
remembered. Adam attended Waverly High School, where he was also a four-year varsity
player for the Waverly Tigers Soccer team. While attending Waverly High School, Adam
was a member of the Spanish club and also the National Honors Society. Adam plans on
pursuing not only his college education, but also has the ultimate goal of continuing
to play soccer at a professional level. Adam is currently playing collegiality at Concord University.
Olivia MacCrae

Inducted into the Mean Machine Hall of Fame March 18, 2023
Olivia has been an active member of Mean Machine FC for her whole high school career.
Throughout this time spent with the club, Olivia has consistently been the captain of her team as
well as a role model to younger girls in the program. Olivia also served as the
assistant coach for the Jr High Girls winter futsal team, during the 2022-2023 season.
Her strength and determination on the pitch has resulted in numerous awards and
honors presented to Olivia, breaking many school records, and setting the bar
high in the process. She is involved in numerous other clubs and student activities including
Student Council, National Honor Society, Quiz bowl, Literary Club, Spanish Club, History Club,
Top 25 ACT Club, Community Service Club, Piketon Musical Department Set Crew, as well as her
high schools track and field team. Olivia will forever be one of the most talented and hardworking
players to come through the Mean Machine ranks. Olivia is attending Hocking College to study
fashion design and retail merchandising in hopes of one day becoming a fashion designer.
Dane Morgensen

Inducted into the Mean Machine Hall of Fame March 18, 2023
Dane has been a member of Mean Machine FC for most of his high school career. He has
consistently served as the captain of his team(s), over that tenure. During his time with the club,
he consistently set records for goals scored and assists. Throughout his involvement with
the club, Dane has proven his ability on the pitch and on the sideline, as he served as a role
model and coach for some of our younger players in the program. Dane proved that hard
work and dedication can lead to success on the pitch, as he has obtained numerous awards,
year after year. Dane also served as the leading scorer and captain of his high school soccer
team. He also received the following awards during his high school career with Piketon High
School: 2020 Second Team All-District, 2021 First Team All-District, 2022 Second Team All-District,
2022 SVC All-League, 2022 Southeast Ohio Scholastic Soccer Coaches Association Senior
Academic Award, 2022 SVC Scholar Athlete and 2022 SVC Honorable Mention Team. While
enrolled at Piketon High School, Dane also attended the Pike County Career & Technology
Center, where he completed the Engineering Technology program. He was also a member of
the National Honor Society and the Technical Honor Society. During High School, he has been
completing his internship through MetaSolutions and plans to continue to work towards his career.
Chase Powell
Played for the Mean Machine F.C. from 2023-2024
Home School - Valley High School - Class of 2024
Inducted into the Mean Machine Hall of Fame March 16, 2024
Chase became a member of Mean Machine FC during 2023. He immediately made
a lasting impact on his team and the club, displaying not only outstanding
footwork and skill, but also leadership for his team and the younger players
in the club. Chase is consistent with providing everything he has, anytime
he plays. Following the 2023-2024, he earned not only his Hall of Fame status
with Mean Machine, but also the Leadership Award, Offensive Senior Male MVP
and the Elite Striker Award. During his high school soccer career, he served as a
Captain to the Valley High School Indians Men’s Soccer Program. While playing
with Valley High School, he also earned All District Second Team Honors.
Chase attends the Scioto Career and Technology Center and has consistently
maintained honors status with his grades and is graduating with his MIG certification.
Chase plans on entering the work force and focusing on his welding career, upon his graduation.
Aidan Gray

Home School - Valley High School - Class of 2024
Inducted into the Mean Machine Hall of Fame March 16, 2024
Aidan Gray became a member of the Mean Machine, during his Senior
season in 2023. He immediately made an impact on not only his team, but
also the entire club. Aidan proved to be the cool and collective leader that was
needed for the High School Men’s team. He consistently made his presence
known, serving as not only the starting Goalie, but also one of the most effective
defensive players to come through the club. His intensity would always rival any
player on the floor. Aidan was able to find a strong passion for coaching the
younger players in the club and plans to continue doing so in the future. Aidan
is a 2024 graduate of Valley High School. During his time playing High School soccer,
not only was Aidan a team captain, where he earned Second Team SOC honors.
Aidan also found a love for Tennis during his senior year, winning an SOC Doubles
Championship. During high school Aidan was able to earn his CDCA license and
work towards a career helping others, as a substance abuse counselor.
