HOUSTON METRO FOOTBALL LEAGUE (POP WARNER) is a 501(c) (3) non-profit, tax-exempt corporation dedicated to the advancement of youth football in the Great State of Texas. The mission of the Houston Metro and USA Youth Football is to enable young people to benefit from participation in team sports and activities in a safe and structured environment. Through this active participation, Houston Metro programs teach fundamental values, skills and knowledge that young people will use throughout their lives. Houston Metro seeks to provide fun athletic learning opportunities for children, while emphasizing the importance of academic success. Specifically, USA Youth Football seeks to familiarize players and spirit participants with the fundamentals of football, cheerleading and dance.
