MASSACHUSETTS DISTRICT 2
WEEKEND TRAVEL PROGRAM
MISSIONTo provide District 2 Little League organizations and players competitive travel baseball by running a well-organized, well administered, fun and cooperative program.
OVERVIEWThe program complements existing “Local/Town” based programs and is targeted for players/coaches looking for “Travel” experience in a Little League forum.
Playing on a Travel Team does not guarantee a player a spot on his/her All Star Tournament Team. Likewise, a player would not have to play on a Travel Team in order to be eligible for selection to an All Star team.
For parents, this is an affordable option that gives their child the best of both worlds – community feel with more travel than traditional Little League baseball.
