SUN SAFETY

From the Centers for Disease Control:

The sun’s ultraviolet (UV) rays can damage your skin in as little as 15 minutes. The following can help to protect you from UV rays:

1.  Shade - seek shade under an umbrella, tree, or other shelter
2.  Clothing - when possible, wear long-sleeved shirts and long pants and skirts, as they can provide protection from UV rays.
3.  Wear a Hat - wear a hat with a brim all the way around that shades your face, ears, and the back of your neck.
4.  Wear Sunglasses - that block both UVA and UVB rays
5.  Sunscreen - wear a broad spectrum sunscreen and reapply, as necessary.
