Parent Code of Conduct
Proviso Township Youth program (football/dance) will strive for their personal best interest but with the understanding that we all have different abilities. We value our youth that are willing and eager to learn, passionate about their craft, and dedicated to being a positive, involved, and committed team member. We emphasize sportsmanship, teamwork, responsibility, commitment and respect. Our main focus is on teaching proper safety skills, and core life values through the sport .
Being a part of the Team is not only a commitment on behalf of the youth, but on behalf of the youth’s family as well. Although our parents may not be displaying their talents , their time and skills (even if it’s just lending a hand with carpooling) are vital to the success of the team. This is a yearlong commitment.
Proviso Staff WILL NOT TOLERATE anything of any kind such as: Skipping Practices, Discrimination, Sexual Orientation, Ethnic Origin, Sex Preference, Fighting, Smart Mouthing of any kind. Yet let me rephrase this. Proviso Staff will not tolerate any he say/she say of any kind. If any of these rules are broken, you will be removed from the team immediately!
Proviso Township program will not tolerate verbal or physical abuse of such from volunteer coaches, referees, players, Parent(s), or Spectator. Should a player’s family member or guest be found in violation of the code of conduct The Board of Directors has the right and authority to suspend, ban, expel or otherwise discipline the player.
Parents you all are welcome to share your ideas and opinions.
LET'S HAVE A GREAT SEASON !!!!!!
