Coach Shelton has a USSF-D license and has been coaching in the club for 20 years. He has three kids who have grown up on FME select teams. The 01 team has seen great successes over the years: winning the State Rec Cup, Finalist in the state Founders Cup, NPSL Div 1 Championship, and multiple tournaments wins. Coach Jeff has been coaching with FME for 10 years and has had players in the club for the last 15, his youngest still plays as well.

Coach Kelly has coached for over 15 years, player for over 30 years, has USSF-E and with FME Fusion 03 since they were developed as U10 players.

The Fusion03 team has moved up a division approx every two years and are currently in their 2nd year of RCL premier.

Doug Rettko -Asst & keeper Coach

Coach Doug is a multiple sport coach, USSF-E, keeper for over 25 years, and with the Fusion03 team since they were developed at U10.

Our philosophy is to be as competitive as our team is capable of being and to create great memories & friendships through the game of soccer that will last a life time.

Coach Poplawski has coached at FME for 8 years and has a USSF-E & D license. His teams have won league play and various tournaments throughout the years & in 2010 won a state cup title. "Our coaching & training staff has a wealth of soccer experience (one with a USSF-A license) and have been with this team since they started playing at U10. Their technical and tactical skills are at a very high level due to that being the core of our training and practices. "Our goal is to help each girl develop to their highest potential and have the skills to go anywhere and play soccer well." Coach Poplawski has served on the FME board and is involved in a variety of other sports within the community.

Coach Phillips has coached at FME for 7 years and has a USSF-E license. He is entering his 3rd year as the Head Coach of the 05 girls. He has had many successes with his teams including multiple undefeated seasons with the most recent winning of the Federal Way Blast off Tournament this past August. Coach Phillips preaches a positive attitude while encouraging players to improve themselves and work as a team on and off the soccer field. He and his family are involved in multiple sports within the Fife, Milton, Edgewood Community.

Coach Ben has coached various levels and ages in the area since 2006. He holds a USSF National E & D. Accomplishments include many tournament finalists and championships, including a state championship in 2010. In addtion to coaching he plays in competitive adult leagues. "My focus is to create a fun and healthy team environment and to increase a player’s passion for the game. I will train players in the technical, tactical, physical, and psychological aspects of the game. Soccer is constantly evolving so we must study and intend to improve every day".

Coach Jaime holds a USSF E license and is a USSF D license candidate. She has been head coaching for seven years.
