BENEFITS OF PERKIOMEN VALLEY YOUTH FOOTBALL & CHEER
Practice & Games
All practices and home games are located at PV High School Main Campus. This exposure fosters a sense of community and continuity, as players become familiar with the field they might play on in the future.
Grade Based Program
Allows our players to work with and play against children the same age. By progressing together, players build strong team chemistry and friendships. This system also helps create a smoother transition to higher levels of competition, as our athletes grow and develop within a consistent framework.
PV District Students Only
Our program is open to children living in PV District Only, allowing players to develop friendships and teamwork with the same peers they will play with in middle and high school. This continuity helps create a more unified and competitive program as athletes grow and progress together. It also allows for better coordination between youth and school coaches, ensuring consistent skill development and coaching philosophies.
Our Mission
We are committed to fostering a positive and inclusive environment where athletes of all skill levels can develop a love for the game. Through a strong emphasis on sportsmanship, teamwork, and fair play, we strive to instill values that extend beyond the field. Our approach prioritizes safety, progressive development, and the mastery of fundamental skills, ensuring that each participant grows both as a player and as an individual. By promoting respect, dedication, and perseverance, we empower athletes to build confidence, cultivate leadership, and embrace the spirit of competition in a way that enriches their personal and athletic journey.
PV Designed Coaching
Our staff works with the PV Varsity coaching staff to implement drills, terminology, techniques, and playbooks used within the varsity program.
Buddy Program
Players in our older grades will have a “Buddy” on the High School Football Team to provide support and encouragement throughout the season.
PAC Opponents
Many of our opponents at the youth level are the same opponents that the high school program competes against. When youth athletes compete against the same opponents they’ll face in high school, they build familiarity and stronger competition.
