Stonehenge Youth Association's mission is to establish, promote, and develop educational, cultural, and social activities for youth in the Athens-Clarke County community.

Stonehenge Youth Association opened its doors as a 501c3 non-profit in 1994 to renew and strengthen the community through the youth by teaching young boys and girls how to be community leaders. In the 29 years since it was founded, Stonehenge Youth Association has been providing youth development programming and services since 1994 primarily to underserved youth ages 5 to 14.  

Over the last year, SYA served over 120 kids.

Currently, Stonehenge Youth Association operates:
Programs and services that are typically out-of-school programs and include academic support as well as enrichment activities. 

• Academic support programs including services as homework assistance and tutoring.
• Enrichment programs including activities as mentoring, youth engagement, physical activity, and recreation.
