SYA is a 501C3 organization whose mission is to establish, promote, and develop educational, cultural, and social activities for youth in the Athens­Clarke County community. SYA also provides Fall tackle football and cheerleading programs and Winter basketball programs for children between the ages of 5 and 12. We are committed to the development and empowerment of future leaders/athletes by using football and basketball as tools to teach children the importance of teamwork while fostering good sportsmanship, good citizenship and character.
