CSA NORTH CARDING PROCESS FOR U13 - U19 MLS NEXT ACADEMY DIVISION (TIER 2).
THIS IS FOR PLAYERS WHO HAVE ACCEPTED THEIR SPOT ON A CSA TEAM WITHIN THE MLS NEXT ACADEMY DIVISION (TIER 2). IF YOU ARE NOT PLAYING ON ONE OF THESE TEAMS, PLEASE DO NOT REGISTER.
All players who are participating in the newly formed MLS Next Academy Division (Tier 2) are required to complete an online player carding registration so they can be cleared to participate in the league games. This process must be completed by the player / guardian and CSA can't complete any of it for you.
The player carding registration uses 2 websites and they are LeagueApps (the initial registration) & Ankored (player compliance). The LeagueApps registrations are team/age specific and if you have multiple children playing in the Academy Division on different teams/ages, please ensure you register each player individually through the correct team/age links below.

Step 2 - Ankored Compliance
Once you have registered at LeagueApps, you will be sent an email from Ankored within about 5-10 minutes (check junk/spam) and once received, create the Ankored account and login. This where you need to complete the player compliances, including Baseline concussion testing.
Again, please ensure all boxes are answered and all required uploads ie. birth certificates and headshot photo's are present and correct.
Step 3 Baseline Concussion Testing & International Clearance ITC (if needed)
All players must complete an online Baseline Concussion test via the Ankored site (no other certificates will comply with the site) and you will need to click HERE to complete the test and the product code is WUKC (if needed).
Any player born outside the United States (even if they are a citizen) must complete the ITC application. All information on that process can be found at https://www.ussoccer.com/federation-services/international-clearance
Once the player/family receives an email of approval from US Soccer, the player/family then uploads a screenshot of the email into their Ankored account.
If a player has received approval previously, then they don't have to apply again (unless they are an Exchange Student, which must be completed annually). All the player/family needs to do is find the approval email and upload it to their Ankored account.
This is a mandate from US Soccer that all players playing soccer in the United States must complete.

Step 4 - Submit
Once all of the above has been completed and submitted, the league will then review the information and if they need anything further, we will let you know via email.
