Updated Age Group Classifications
Starting with the 2026–27 seasonal year, the majority of youth soccer programs across the United States will adopt a new age-group formation model. This update applies to all organizations participating in MLS NEXT Academy Division, U.S. Youth Soccer (USYS), National Academy League (NAL), Girls Academy (GA) and all affiliated competitions that CSA North is a member of. Please note that MLS Homegrown will remain in its birth year.

Tryout Details for 2026-2027
- All players must be pre-registered before attending tryouts
- Indicate your location preference when registering
- Players interested in both/either location should attend tryouts at both.
- Current CSA players are expected to attend tryout based on the new age group classification

- Players will be evaluated by the new age group classification system while also being evaluated by birth year for potential MLS Homegrown players.
