District 3 Little League Meeting

New Structure: All ADA’s will be responsible for their league and 2 or 3 other leagues in D3. All questions and concerns are to be directed to them.
Blue Sombraro will be the new website D3 will use. Every league in D3 needs to use this website. Only a few leagues are using it now. Blue Sombraro is spending a lot of money on this. It is associated with Dicks Sporting goods. It costs nothing to use and send in your payments. However, if you use a credit card you will have a cost.
ASAP needs to get done by each league and can be sent to the data center. There are 3 steps to summit.
Safety plan needs to be completed before anything else can be done.
Senior league softball anybody interested? Ages are 13-16 year olds. We need to set a deadline for getting this decided.
T-ball tournament is anybody interested? Nina Johnston-Pitt , at Central Region, needs to approve this tournament. Start asking your leagues if they want to play. It will be a weekend tournament, $50.00 per team fee, possibly middle of the season.
LL World Congress decide on rules. A team can now have more than 8- 12 year olds on a team. Put this in your by-laws. 70% approval at Congress.
Under no circumstance shall a player pitch in 3 consecutive days. 69% approval by Congress.
If game is suspended, the number of pitches counts regardless of which inning was played. Example is game was suspended and a player pitched 20 pitches. The next game he starts his pitch count at 20. 80% passed by the Congress.
Senior league if seniors cant get 12 games in due to weather or other circumstances, 10 games will be fine. The league will need to apply to the charter committee. 87% passed by the Congress.
BB/SB mandatory play, A player removed from defense who stays in the game, can return to the mound. 12 or less players, 6 consecutive outs and 1 at bat. 12 or more players, 3 consecutive outs and 1 at bat.
Visits to the pitcher, 12 year olds and above, 2 times an inning and 3 times a game.

Background checks 2018 use 1st Advantage website. 125 free checks before March 1. Then a small fee for each additional background check.
Registration is up on Blue Sombrao. JDP use this. These reports will be in the data center.
Interleague play can also be put on Blue Sombrao. Put in the leagues population.
Chris has access to all D3 presidents.
CPR trainer coming in later.
Badges will be for President, State tournament teams, will have badges. Also, District 3 staff will also have badges.
