VOLUNTEER COACH OF THE WEEK
Ryan is the older brother of Brayden W. He stepped up when we needed a coach for his team! Ryan has been a great role model for the kids. He is set to head to the US Coast Guard in a few weeks and we will certainly miss him. We wish you the best of luck Ryan as you take the next step in your life! Continue to be a leader and a positive influence on the youth in our community.

Brandon is another one of our volunteers and is an assistant coach for 2 different teams. He helps his wife Stacie coach our 8U Darlings team, and also assists Coach Kim on our 12U Powerhouse team.

We will be working on opening up registration and releasing try-out information this month for our fall softball program.
Basketball Registration Waitlist
On June 1st, you should be able to sign-up for our basketball programs waitlist to get your registration taken care of early for the upcoming 2024-25 season.

SOCCER COMMISSIONER WANTED!
We are now searching for a volunteer who is willing to fulfil the role of soccer commissioner for the 2024 season. If you have any interest please send your coaching resume to Secretary Danielle Janson - [email protected]
JOIN OUR FUNDRAISING COMMITTEE! (Help us grow our program)
We are looking to run fundraisers for our organization in order to continue to provide programs at a low cost to families in our community, fund scholarships for athletes and families in need as well as expand our reach within our community to make sure that every kid has an opportunity to play sports if they choose. We know volunteering in any capacity is not an easy task, but we also are aware that the more of us that work together, the more we can provide for the youth in our program and in our townships. Our fundraising committee will be responsible for putting together fundraiser for our organization under the direction of our Director of Fundraising, Laura Commisso. Every little bit helps! MEMORIAL DAY PARADES
Delanco: May 26, 2024 - 1:00 PM (Parade start time)
MEETING AT WEST AVE - Please have your trucks and players to West Ave no later than 12:30 PM. Players can be picked up at Walnut field track following the end of the parade.
Riverside: May 27, 2024 - 9:30 AM (Parade start time)
MEETING ON DAUPHIN STREET (Between Kossuth and Taylor, 1st & 2nd Block) - We are behind Riverside's String Band and will follow the boy/girl scouts). Players can be picked up near the firehouse when the reach the end of the parade.
1. WEAR YOUR DEL RIV GEAR! - Make sure your child has their uniform shirt on. If you play soccer and basketball, you will be able to also march in the parade, too! So please come out with your jersey on and have a great time with us in either parade!
2. BRING A BAG OF CANDY - Players and volunteers can throw out candy to people watching in the parade. Please be mindful of who/where you are throwing candy too. Make sure its a soft toss as well, please do not fire candy into the crowd as hard as you can. Watch for little kids.
3. REPRESENTING DEL RIV YOUTH SPORTS - We are proud to be able to keep Del Riv Youth Sports in the community and we hope to continue to reach out to others who may not know who we are yet. Please make sure that while you are participating in the parade that all of our behaviors and actions are aligned with our Code of Conduct for Del Riv members.
MONTHLY MEETING - MAY 28, 2024
Our next board meeting will be May 28, 7:30 PM at Delanco Municipal Building. Come out and support the program and learn about what we have going on and what we hope to have coming up.
