Our Story

Opelika Soccer Club was established in 2010, as a part of the Opelika Parks and Recreation, in order to provide training in a more competitive environment for developing soccer players. The Club began with only three coed teams in 2010, and has grown over the years to include teams throughout the age groups, for both girls and boys ages 7-18.

The Opelika Soccer Club has Division I, II, and III teams that travel throughout the state to play in competitive games and tournaments. They have one of the highest Nationally Licensed coaching staffs in the area and provide team training two or more times a week, with games primarily on the weekends. Opelika Soccer has a club-wide curriculum focusing on individual technical and tactical improvement. This club-wide curriculum is the key for optimum player development. Our goal is to develop strong individual players that will continue to love and play soccer for many years to come, as well as develop a reputation for producing well trained athletes with a solid soccer foundation and excellent sportsmanship. Opelika Soccer Club is affiliated with the Alabama Youth Soccer Association, Central Alabama Soccer League, and US Club Soccer.

At Opelika Soccer Club, we will provide each player the opportunity to play soccer in a supportive and rewarding environment that emphasizes fun, empowerment, and skill development. Opelika Soccer Club will help to foster young players' physical, mental, and social growth as they achieve their full potential in life through their participation in soccer.
