Spring 2024 Divisions: (These divisions are different than the Fall so please do not base where your player should play in the Spring based on the Fall)
a. Intermediate (13u) – The Intermediate division, 50/70 Kid-Pitch, introduces an advanced level of Little League play to League City Little League and is more consistent with traditional baseball. This level provides players a gap year before transitioning to more advanced levels of play on larger fields. The Intermediate division is highly-competitive and is comprised of eligible players ages 13 to 11 who were registered prior to try-outs and were drafted to a team. For the Spring 2024 season this division will have try-outs for interested players. All interested players will be waitlisted at registration and invited to a must attend tryout. At the tryouts players will be assessed, and a ranking will be associated with each player. We are going to try to have 4 teams this season which means only the top ranked players will be offered a spot. For example: assuming we have 4 teams of 12 and each manager has 3 lockins, the highest ranked 36 kids will be offered a spot in the division. For those league age 11 and 12, that do not receive an invite, they will have the option to play in another division assuming there is still availability. * Important, due to field size, we do not currently offer any other division for league age 13 players so if they do not make a team, we do not have any other options for them to play in LCLL this Spring. We are working to obtain some field space to fill this void but it will take time.

The AAA division is a combination of competition and instruction for players and is a stepping stone to Majors. . Only the most advanced league age 9’s should consider this division. Below are important dates for the Spring 2024 Season. Registration will open at 8:00am on December 1st and we anticipate some divisions filling up within 24 hours. If you try to register and your player is waitlisted, don’t get discouraged. We activated 99% of players from the waitlist this past Fall season, so if your player starts on the waitlist, they may not end up there. Please DO NOT register your player in more than one division as it creates inaccuracies in our available player numbers. The system numbers become inaccurate when we are attempting to move players from the wait list that are also registered. If you register in more than one division your entire Spring Registration will be cancelled. The league will get with managers at evaluations and if a player needs to be moved based on skill, we will work to make that happen but you do not need to register in multiple divisions.
