Welcome to East Penn - EPYAL Girls Fastpitch Softball !!!

Our mission is to encourage self-worth,  confidence, teamwork ability,  and positive attitudes among our young girls and at the same time,  teaching them the skills of a sport they may enjoy for years to come.  

EPYAL  is operated as a non-profit organization under the laws of the Commonwealth of Pa. as ordered by the Court of Cumberland County.

To promote facilities and supervision for athletic activities for the youth of East Pennsboro Township and surrounding communities.

To promote tolerance and cooperation.

To teach sportsmanship in all activities.

To teach respect for the law and representatives of the law.

To install a sense of responsibility and as good citizens, a desire to participate in betterment community activities.

Baseball Spring 2020

2020 Little League and Teener Spring Season Information

The ages for baseball are 4 - 17 years old.
T-Ball (4-6 yrs)
Pony (7-8 yrs)
Minors (9-10 yrs)
Majors (11-12 yrs)
Intermediate (13 yrs)
Teeners (13 - 17 yr old)

Players will stay in their age Division (This is the GENERAL RULE).   Pending on the NUMBER of players during registration and the TEAM needs for draft players may be asked to 'play up' to the next Division.  Permission will need to be given by the parents of those players.  Those players who are placed on a team a division up from their age WILL NOT be able to play 'down' to the Division of their original age group. 

After evaluations, some players may be approached to be part of a 'call-up' list.  The 'call-up' list will be discussed and approved by the involved Coaches, Commissioners, and Directors.

SIGN UP DATES: Online registration is open now through February 14, 2020 at 11:59 PM.  Sign up before January 31st at 11:59 PM to receive the early bird discount.  Registrations after 11:59 PM on January 31st, 2020 will be charged the regular registration fees.

REGISTRATION FEES:  You may pay by Master Card or Visa.  We will be having an in-person registration at the Sheaffer Field House on Saturday, January 25, 2020 and also on Saturday, February 15th, 2020 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM for those people wishing to pay by cash or you may contact the Baseball Directors for assistance. The Baseball Directors will be available to answer questions at this time. Volunteer deposit checks and copies of birth certificates for first time players may also be turned in at this time.

T-Ball Baseball: $70.00 Early Bird/$95.00 Regular
Pony Baseball: $75.00 Early Bird/$100.00 Regular
Minor Baseball: $85.00 Early Bird/$110.00 Regular
Major Baseball: $90.00 Early Bird/$115.00 Regular
Intermediate Baseball: $110.00 Early Bird/$135.00 Regular
Teener Baseball: $130.00 Early Bird/$155.00 Regular (Teener Baseball is not associated with Little League Baseball)

Uniforms:  All Divisions will be provided a shirt and hat.  T-Ball and Pony divisions will be provided socks.   You can purchase league provided pants for an additional $10.00.   If you choose not to purchase league provided pants, you will need to provide your own white baseball pants.

VOLUNTEER DEPOSIT CHECKS: A total amount of a $110.00 deposit is required.  You MUST submit 2 different checks in the amount of $55.00 each made payable to EPYAL, unless you pay the $115.00 Non-volunteer fee.  In order to earn your checks back, you are required to volunteer 2 times at either the concession stand, field day, or the tournament day.  Each time you volunteer you will receive one of your checks back (one check per family per event).  All coaches will be exempt from the volunteer deposits, but will be required to either work one of the two field days (opening or closing). Teeners are excluded.

R&K FUNDRAISER: All families are required to sell a minimum of 20 subs and/or pretzel sandwiches.  If you wish not to sell, the buyout is $44.00.  Families not meeting the minimum sale requirements will be charged at $2.00 per sub/pretzel sandwich they are short of the required 20 items.

LITTLE LEAGUE BENEFITS:
1. Teams are entered in the Little League World Series Tournament for the different age groups.
2. Team rosters are kept low, so players are on the field and not on the bench.
3. Minors, Pony, and T-Ball play continuous batting order, so ALL players get more chances to bat.
