2025 Season Details:
We are VERY excited to get registration started and look forward to starting the season in July 2025!
The EPYAL Cheer Program is an equal opportunity program. We welcome all children in grades 1-8 that live in East Pennsboro Township. We are a recreational sideline cheering program. We pride ourselves in having a safe and welcoming atmosphere for all children. Our program has a ZERO TOLERANCE FOR BULLYING POLICY, for all ages, in all squads of Cheer. We want our cheerleaders have a fun experience while participating. Cheer is a sport, and participation is required, at all times.
We like to have a lot of fun outside of practices and games! Our extra fun activities include a Sports Parade in August ending at a bonfire, cheering with the high school cheerleaders at a Friday night game, participating in the township Halloween Parade, a PINK Out game in October and an End of Season Party in December!

2025 Registration:
Cheerleader Ages Eligible:
- Must be in 1st Grade through 8th Grade
Cheerleader Residence Eligible
- Must reside in East Pennsboro Township.
We are not associated with any school district, any child that lives in EP Township is eligible.
Registration Dates:
Registration for the 2025 season will be held online beginning Friday, April 18, 2025.
Registration will close June 30, 2025 or until squads are full.
All registrations will be done online only. There is no in person registration.
No late registrations will be accepted due to ordering uniforms and bows.
Registration has a four part cost:
- $150 Due at Sign up.
- Mandatory Sub Fundraiser participation or buy out of $60 (can prepay this at sign up).
- $75 Uniform Deposit Check- HELD, not cashed unless you do not return the Uniform.
- $100 Volunteer Deposit Check- HELD, not cashed unless you do not volunteer for a 2-Hour long session. This is for every cheer family, regardless of any sibling in football.
Your Registration Fee, once paid, is nonrefundable and non-transferable to another year/player/sport. Once you register your cheerleader, supplies are ordered and fees are paid on their behalf. There are no refunds for any reason once you register. This includes not starting the season, ending the season early by quitting or by termination from EPYAL.
Your registration fee includes:
- 2 nights of Cheer Camp in July – Mandatory to attend
- 1 t-shirt – for the Friday Night High School game (you keep)
- Rental of EPYAL Cheer Uniform (Skirt and Vest)
- Midgets and Ponies rental of orange liner
- Rental of EPYAL Pom Poms
- Game Day Briefs – (1 pair) (you keep)
- Game Day Bow (1) (you keep)
- Pink out Bow (1) (you keep)
- End of Season Gift for cheerleader (who finish the season)
- End of Season Party for Cheerleader (who finish the season)
- All 8th Graders receive a special ceremony & gift
- Required athlete insurance
- Practice Field Location/maintenance
- Fully background checked coaching staff

- White Ankle Socks – available on Amazon
- White Cheer Shoes – available on Amazon
- Reusable Water Bottle *Water only, no sports drinks/soda. No single use plastic bottles
- Duffel Bag (Pom Poms are required to be brought for every practice)
- Black Leggings, black hat & black gloves for cold weather
- Smurf & Pee Wee Squads - Black Long Sleeve Shirt for cold weather

Squad Assignment:
Our squads are based on GRADE, not age.
Please enter the grade your child is entering for NEXT SCHOOL YEAR ’25-’26 (not the current grade they are in now). This is the grade they will be in for September 2025.
The age you enter into our website may not correspond with the correct squad listed – we will fix this on the back end. It is very important you select next years grade so your child is placed on the squad with their classmates. We can not promise change of squad if you enter the wrong grade at registration; due to size of squads.
We hope to have 4 Squads in 2025, but we will finalize squads closer to July 2025.
We also need to have enough coaching staff to have the 4 squads (3 coaches per squad required). If you are interested in Coaching, please email [email protected] – Currently we do not have enough coaches to have a Smurf Squad, so please reach out ASAP! We will combine squads if we do not get Smurf Coaches.
You will be contacted with your squad assignment in July before cheer camp once we confirm we have enough Coaches. GameChanger will be set up the first week in July. Please download the App now, you will receive an email in July with GameChanger assignments.

EPYAL Cheerleading Directors reserve the right to combine squads at any time due to the lack of cheerleaders or coaching staff. We reserve the right to move cheerleaders based on experience, up or down levels.

3 Checks:
CHECK #1: Uniform Deposit:
- This $75 deposit fee is per uniform/cheerleader.
- No Cash is accepted – only a check.
- THIS CHECK IS NOT CASHED, IT IS HELD unless you do not return the uniform.
- This check will not be cashed unless you fail to return the entire uniform and/or Pom Poms at the end of the season. Uniforms must be returned cleaned. If they are dirty/stained and/or smell of smoke/any odor, then a dry-cleaning fee will come out of this money. These checks will be returned at uniform hand in at the end of the season. EPYAL-owned uniforms and pom poms lost, stolen or damaged will need to be financially replaced by the cheerleader. Uniform Deposit check made payable to “EPYAL”. Once cashed it is nonrefundable and non-transferable. If a check is returned, there is a $30 returned check fee.
CHECK #2: Volunteer Deposit Check:
- This $100 deposit fee is for every cheer family (not per cheerleader).
- No Cash is accepted – only a check.
- THIS CHECK IS NOT CASHED, IT IS HELD unless you do not volunteer.
- This is per cheer family not per cheerleader. Family is considered another cheerleader that is an immediate sibling living in the same household. If you have a football player you must submit checks for each sport and volunteer for each sport. This check will be returned to you when you complete one full 2 Hour long Volunteer Session. If you do not complete a two hour long volunteering session, your check will then be cashed at the end of the season. This Volunteer Deposit Check is made payable to “EPYAL”. Once cashed it is nonrefundable and non-transferable. If a check is returned, there is a $30 returned check fee
CHECK #3 Buyout or Sub Sales:
- The mandatory fundraiser for this year is R&K Subs.
- Football & Cheer are combined for this Fundraiser - Each Football/Cheer family must sell 25 subs.
- If you sell fewer than 25, you must pay $3/item not sold. If you do not want to participate in the sub sale, you may do the buyout for $60.00 per family. Sub Buy out check must be made payable to “EPYAL”, Once cashed it is nonrefundable and non-transferable. If a check is returned, there is a $30 returned check fee.
- Family Member is defined as a Football or Cheerleader immediate siblings living in the same household.

Practices:
- All of our practices and home games will be at Adams Ricci Football Field.
- Practices are Tues/Wed/Thur from 6pm to 8pm.
- Once school starts and all main cheers are taught, practices will be shorter times.

Rules and Guidelines:
A Cheerleading Rules book will be handed out at the Mandatory Parent Meeting. EPYAL Cheerleading follows a ZERO TOLERANCE for bullying. If bullying occurs the cheerleader will be terminated immediately without refund. This is for all ages, in all squads. Any physical alterations will result in immediate termination without refund. Cheerleaders will have a meeting about this at the beginning of the first practice session. No cheerleaders will start until they have attended this meeting with a Director.
If the Mandatory Parent Meeting is missed by a parent/guardian – the cheerleader does not cheer until the parent have met with a Cheer Director.
