Registration for the Spring 2023 baseball season will open December 11, 2022. 

: Baseball divisions are based on the following dates of birth:

T-Ball: 9/1/2017 to 8/31/2019
Junior Pony/ Coach Pitch: 9/1/2015 to 8/31/2017

Senior Pony/ Player Pitch: 9/1/2014 to 8/31/2015
Minors: 9/1/2012 to 8/31/2014
Majors: 9/1/2010 to 8/31/2012
Intermediate: 9/1/2009 to 8/31/2010

Teeners: 9/1/2007 to 8/31/2009

All first-time players are required to provide a copy of their birth certificate for age verification during online registration.  Most players will play in the division corresponding to their age.  On rare occasions—based on player safety and skill—exceptions will be made, and a player will be asked to play at a higher or lower division.  In such cases, division commissioners will consult with the parents/guardians of those players prior to approving the change.  During non-tournament play, players who received an exemption and were promoted to a higher division will not be allowed to ‘play down’ at the division/age group they would have played without an exemption.  Any temporary 'call-up' from a lower division will be discussed and approved by the parents, coaches, and commissioners involved.

REGISTRATION FEES: The registration fees for Spring 2023 are as follows:

T-Ball: $75.00

Pony Divisions: $85.00

Minors: $95.00

Majors: $105.00

Intermediate: $115.00

Teeners: $115.00

UNIFORMS: Players at all divisions will be provided a team jersey and team hat. T-ball players will also receive a pair of white pants and baseball socks; all other divisions will need to provide their own white pants and socks.

VOLUNTEER DEPOSIT CHECKS: Two $55.00 volunteer deposit checks will be required per family unless you pay the $110.00 non-volunteer fee at the time of registration.  Checks must be made payable to EPYAL and can be turned in at any monthly baseball meeting or on Saturday March 11, 2023 from 9am-12pm at Sheaffer Fieldhouse.  To receive your checks back, you are required to volunteer at least two times at the concession stand, field maintenance days, or R&K handout day.  Coaches and assistant coaches will be exempt from the volunteer deposit but are expected to work one of the two field days (opening or closing).  More details about field days will be sent in February 2023.  Checks are not required for the Teeners division, but families are encouraged to volunteer.

R&K FUNDRAISER: We will be participating in the R&K sub sale again.  All families are required to sell a minimum of 15 subs and/or pretzel sandwiches.  If you choose not to participate in the fundraiser, the buyout is $40.00 due at the time of online registration.  More details about the R&K fundraiser will be sent once registration is completed.
